History

Prepaid phone cards began in the late 1970's in Italy. The purpose was to provide convenient phone calling for travelers. It wasn't until 1992 that the debit phone card began in the US. Many of us are now aware of the huge growth of the prepaid telecommunications market. Joseph Wesley MD, liked the idea of: saving money, while providing a quality service that everyone needs, the need to communicate. Dr. Joe began formulating Pharos International in 1994.

We have since expanded our business into the domestic and international prepaid cell phone market.
